Senior Security Systems Engineer with 20+ years of professional experience and extensive domestic and international expertise in the design, development, operation, and technical management of integrated security systems and related projects.

✅ Throughout my career, I have coordinated complex projects, managed security systems, maintained stakeholder relationships, and prepared technical documentation for government institutions, diplomatic missions, and organizations operating in EU and NATO environments.

✅ I have been responsible for the operation of a security infrastructure comprising more than 700 CCTV cameras and an access control system with over 800 access points, together with the supporting security IT network. I approach every project with a systems-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a results-driven problem-solving attitude.

✅ I hold the highest level of national security clearance, valid until 2028, authorizing me to handle classified national, European Union, and NATO information.

1. Security Systems Engineer

  • I coordinated the full operation of the security systems and the security IT network, ensuring high availability and smooth operation.
  • I led the technical preparation and implementation of high-value security development projects.
  • I exercised professional supervision over the work of suppliers, ensuring high technical standards and the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • I prepared technical specifications, prepared purchases and evaluated offers from a professional perspective.
  • I prepared as-built and operational documentation and records and kept them up to date.

2. Security Systems Engineer

Nov/2023 - May/2024

Apache Design Ltd., Budapest

  • I designed and checked the plans of major investments from a security and IT perspective.
  • I performed technical inspection tasks, ensuring the high quality of the construction and compliance with deadlines.
  • I integrated low-voltage systems, performed commissioning and optimized existing systems.
  • I provided technical support to investors and industry planners.

3. Regional Security Systems Engineer

Aug/2018 - Oct/2023

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Brussels

  • I operated and supervised the security systems of the Brussels, The Hague, Luxembourg and NATO/EU missions.
  • I designed, installed and maintained security systems and prepared the as-built technical documentation.
  • I coordinated international projects and maintained daily contact with the European Council on personnel and IT security issues.
  • I performed system security supervisor tasks on classified communication channels.
  • I performed my duties as a fire and occupational safety officer.

4. Security Systems Engineer

  • I designed security systems for Hungarian diplomatic missions in AutoCAD.
  • I coordinated with design engineers and supervised and coordinated construction work on site.

    IT engineer (BSc equivalent), security technology specialisation – Dennis Gabor College, Budapest, 2001–2005.

  • Languages

    Hungarian – native. English – B2: state-accredited intermediate exam (written and oral), in daily professional use during five years in Brussels.
